I have had some sweet warm hikes in the forest.
60 degree days, Arizona sun and a loyal coyote to hike with.
Moki is a great running and hiking companion. he was born and raised far from the busy-ness of town. he is a true wild child and an excellent protector of the children.
the wood stove that heats our entire little cabin (600 square feet.)

↟ tiny elk antler and turquoise earrings ↟
↟ as requested, I have added a smaller sized pendant to the shop ↟

Moki...he's marvellously good looking too!
ReplyDeleteLove these new {and new takes} creations...
{I was browsing the local cabin real estate situation...I long for a wood stove and an axe...}
Have a wonderful, inspired week!
xo
yes. good looking just like his dad. we have him too, but he is hiking less and less due to some health problems. there is something so fulfilling in providing one's own heat and collecting wood to do it (and splitting it is the fun part!)

Absolutely blown away by the new elk earrings. The length!
ReplyDeleteMoki's a beaut!!
I can't WAIT to wear my antler turquoise earrings!!! To match my pendant that I never take off.
Lovely pics of some warmth in and out of your cabin on the wild mountain. :)
the new elk earrings are surprisingly light; and actually look really big on my daughter. I should include a shot of them on a grown woman so I don't scare people away.
Deletesending out your earrings today! enjoy. have a safe journey. which part of California? I regularly spend time north of San Fran (Mt. Tam). Love it.
K.
Oh, but the size of the new elk earrings - that's the beauty of them. They are luscious Kerry.
DeleteI'll be on the central coast, in San Luis Obispo. I'll pick up a beach trinket for you!
Love NorCal too. :)
thanks! someone scooped them up yesterday. I'll have do do another pair soon.
Deleteperfect.
ReplyDeletelove your [kindred] lifestyle....especially that you hike with a coyote....!
thanks!
Deleteand p.s. he's not a real coyote; we just call him the coyote. he is a purebred german shepherd but his dad (who we also have) looks like a real german shepherd. Moki looks like his mom (who we called the mexican coyote: she really looked JUST like a coyote but was papered as a german shepherd.) p.p.s I think the "papers" were fake.
K.
Beautiful, as always, Kerry. I love your german shepherd. He's gorgeous + looks very alert. :)
ReplyDeleteThank you Becky. German Shepherds are amazing. and alert. very sweet and protective at the same time.
